We are constantly evolving and expanding our capabilities to help meet your needs. Our industry is being redefined by evolving customer needs and demands, including graphic design, mailing services, short-run printing, web services and more. While printing continues to be a mainstay in our business, it is now just one of many services we offer.
Bottom line – the way people communicate is changing profoundly, but the need for effective communication is not. As a printer, we are in the communications business. And as a member of the Allegra Network, we represent a nationwide network of advanced printing, graphic design and business communication solutions providers.
History Within the Community:
1959—2001
Barclay Press has been the printing and publishing arm of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends (Evangelical Quakers) for over 50 years. For 40 of those years it offered printing services to the community to help cover publishing costs. In 2001 they decided to sell the printing operations and return to their original mission: publishing and other church-related communications. The publishing office of Barclay Press is now located near the campus of George Fox University in Newberg.
2002—2008
Larry Monger forms Vineyard Graphics by purchasing the printing operations of Barclay Press, Printistry, Chehalem Printing and merging them into a new company. There were upgrades to every area of the business, from pre-press to bindery, including the installation of state-of-the-art DI (direct imaging) presses.
2009—Present
Karl and Nancy Hughes buy Vineyard Graphics, and rename it to Allegra Print & Imaging.
